1/22/2024 0 Comments Good habits everyone should have![]() There is something about putting together a gift. My favorite is Home Alone and the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. I enjoy wrapping up on the couch with tons of blankets and watching a good Christmas movie. I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas, Chanukah, December, etc. As Christmas comes around next year and the following years, I will be more understanding and more thoughtful to how other people celebrate and do not celebrate around Christmas time. To remember this wonder, Chanukah was created.Christmas is not all that different across the religions who do celebrate the holiday. Even with a little bit of olive oil, the menorah was still lit and stayed lit for eight days. The Jewish reclaimed the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and as a symbol of reclaiming the temple, the menorah was to be lit however, only a single cruse of olive oil was left. Chanukah memorializes the small army of Jews that defeated the mighty Greek Army in the second century BCE. Chanukah is an eight-day festival of lights that is celebrated by a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers, and foods (fried). The Jewish do not celebrate Christmas, but instead, celebrate a holiday know as Chanukah (Hanukkah). The stuff that we complain about that makes us fat is probably exactly the stuff we want. Your team could start videoconferencing more often with remote co-workers or make your office safer with tech-based security systems. As a recruiter, you might advocate for artificial intelligence software that highlights candidates’ related skill sets within minutes. You could impress your boss by making your company more productive after introducing the latest advancements. Technology is rapidly advancing, so stay focused on learning about whatever new tech hits the market. If you’re only eating highly processed foods or packaged meals high in sugar, your body likely needs more veggies and natural foods to maintain your health. Consider if each of your meals provides protein, whole grains and essential nutrients. It’s time to start thinking about how you’ll eat a healthy diet when cooking is up to you. You won’t have a cafeteria with ready-made food after graduation. ![]() It may seem robotic at first, but you’ll fall into a healthy social schedule that minimizes your loneliness and prevents relationships from falling apart after graduation. You might make a recurring friend date every Tuesday night and spend time on yourself every Thursday. Learn how to balance your relationships by dedicating specific days to certain people every week. You might find it more challenging to keep up with everyone after getting different jobs and starting your own lives. Maintaining relationships is much easier when classes, study groups and seasonal breaks align everyone’s schedules.
